THE UN envoy for Libya announced proposals for a national unity government on Thursday night.

Bernardino Leon told a news conference the candidates for the national unity administration had been picked.

Negotiators who attended the peace talks representing the rival governments approved the nominations, but Libya’s two rival parliaments in Tripoli and Tobruk must now ratify the deal.
