Welsh language activists detained over slogan-spraying

THREE Welsh language activists were arrested yesterday after spraying slogans on a Welsh government building.

A man and two women daubed demands including “Welsh education for all” — “addysg Gymraeg i bawb” — on the entrance to the offices in Aberystwyth at around 7.45am.

The trio from the Welsh Language Society then sat in front of the offices with supporters and waited for the police.
