Can we finally put the move to England to bed? Please?
ANDREW MUIRHEAD wants to stop talking about the Old Firm moving south of the border now that the Football League has shut down the idea - again

All the talk this week will be about Celtic and Rangers being drawn out of the hat in the League Cup semi-final, while talk of their move to the English game has been sidelined once again — until the next time.

The two Glasgow giants have been linked with a move to the English game since the early noughties and every time this has been rolled out by football officials and the media it has been promptly rejected.

It is beyond tiresome now for Scottish football as a whole and for fans in general no matter their allegiances.
