SCHOOLS in England are facing their “worst cuts in a generation” as the Tory axe falls on another £2.5 billion a year of funding.
But teachers are fighting back and will stage three protest rallies this month.
The National Union of Teachers (NUT) says that as the government’s public spending cuts accelerate, losses will rise to £2.5bn a year by 2020, affecting 92 per cent of English schools.
