Southern strikes continue to 2017
STUBBORN Southern bosses’ refusal to abandon unsafe plans to shake up train guards’ roles means strikes on the service will continue into the new year, union RMT announced yesterday.
Workers will walk out for three days on New Year’s Eve after “rock solid” action earlier this week.
Drivers’ union Aslef is continuing its overtime ban which is also causing chaos to services.
