Syria: Geneva peace talks stuttering to a start
Opposition preconditions a stumbling block to negotiations

SYRIAN government lead negotiator Bashar Jaafari accused opposition delegates yesterday of not being serious about UN-hosted indirect peace talks and of trying to derail them with preconditions.
The opposition coalition has said that it will meet UN mediator Staffan de Mistura but will not negotiate until its preconditions are met.
