NICKY MORGAN has “intentionally deceived” teachers and parents over cuts to school budgets, National Union of Teachers leader Kevin Courtney told strikers yesterday.
He said the Tory Education Secretary should be ashamed of her claim this weekend that school budgets were at the same level in real terms.
And speaking in support of the tens of thousands of striking teachers, Labour shadow chancellor John McDonnell said plotters calling for Jeremy Corbyn to resign were partially motivated by his support for proper education funding.
