Latvia: MEP slams EU double standards on Russia

Latvian MEP Tatjana Zdanoka has warned the EU against “double standards” regarding its hostility towards Russia.

Next week’s plenary session of the EU will vote on the Fotyga report, which accuses Moscow of engaging in propaganda against members of the Euopean Union.

But Ms Zdanoka, an MEP for the Latvian Russian Union, which represents the country’s Russian minority, said on Thursday that European media was spreading misinformation about Russia.
