TSSA will become the latest union to make a formal link with the Morning Star, resolving to buy a “significant” number of shares in the people’s paper.
Opening the union’s conference in Eastbourne, president Mick Carney said the importance of the Star had been highlighted by the BBC’s biased coverage of last week’s elections.
“It’s quickly becoming apparent that the only friend the movement has in the press is the Morning Star,” he said.
