Bashing the poor again

WORKERS in Britain will be paid less in real terms in 2021 than they were in 2008, says the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS).

At the same time, the Resolution Foundation reports that, for all Theresa May’s chatter about helping those she has branded “jams” (just about managing), government policies will diminish living standards for the poorest 30 per cent of households by 2019-20.

These two reports encapsulate Tory government anti-working-class bias, which should surprise no-one.
