PROPOSALS to ensure that goods and services currently approved for sale across Britain and European Union can continue to be traded after Brexit were laid out by the government yesterday.
Brexit Secretary David Davis published a position paper calling for goods already on the market to be allowed to remain on sale in Britain and the EU.
The paper also said that any agreement should continue to allow action to be taken against unsafe or non-compliant goods in the interests of consumer protection.
