CAMPAIGNERS against Britain’s membership of the EU have “done more damage to capitalism in four days than the Socialist Workers Party in 40 years,” John McDonnell said yesterday.
The shadow chancellor used an opposition-day debate in Parliament to say EU membership was central to Britain’s economic strategy.
“There is a well-founded concern that withdrawal will put jobs, investment, trade and employment at risk,” he said.
