BREXIT plans could be thrown into disarray as the government goes to the Supreme Court today in the latest stage of the legal battle over Britain’s EU membership.
Top judges are being asked to overturn a High Court ruling that the Prime Minister must seek MPs’ approval before starting the process of taking Britain out of the European Union.
Because British membership of the EU is enshrined in law, the High Court said the government would need to pass a Bill giving it the power to leave.
