Trump ‘will co-operate’ with Russia’s war on Isis
Lavrov pleased with discussion largely dominated by Middle East violence

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump said yesterday he would cooperate with Russia in its war on Isis in Syria and elsewhere.

The death cult launched counter-attacks on US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces guerillas after they seized the Tabqa hydroelectric dam over the Euphrates river intact late on Wednesday.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met his US counterpart Rex Tillerson and President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
