Western Sahara: Polisario warns its battle for independence could reignite

WESTERN SAHARA’S Polisario Front warned yesterday that war in Africa’s last colony could reignite if the UN does not set a date for a long-delayed independence referendum.

Bachir Mustafa Sayed, minister adviser for Polisario Front secretary-general Mohammad Abdulaziz, told a press conference in Madrid that it was not enough to restore the recently expelled United Nations peacekeeping mission.
