‘The government is trying to bully unions, but we're not going away’: Unite's Sharon Graham pledges support for East Midlands workers in fair pay battle

UNITE general secretary Sharon Graham issued a rallying cry to union activists in the East Midlands today, urging them to take the fight to bosses over jobs, pay and conditions.

At a summit in Leicester, she told 200 Unite members from Nottingham City Council, Rolls Royce, Siemens and elsewhere that the union was “completely focused” on fighting for its own. 

She said: “Unite is 100 per cent behind workers across the East Midlands in their battle for fair pay.
