A COMMUNIST candidate in upcoming council elections for Bury, Greater Manchester, has pledged to fight austerity and privatisation if elected.
Dan Ross is standing the as Communist Party of Britain (CPB) candidate in the Bury Council elections on Thursday, competing in Pilkington Park ward, Whitefield.
Mr Ross, who has lived in Bury for 30 years, said: “The time is long overdue for a real change in the political landscape of our town.
