Cop arrested over ‘right-wing terror connections’

A SERVING Metropolitan Police officer was arrested yesterday on suspicion of being a member of a banned group linked to right-wing terrorism.

The constable, 21, was detained by counter-terrorism officers at an address in north London where a search was being carried out.

The officer, who works in “frontline policing,” was taken to a south London police station where he remained in custody.
