Sturgeon pressured over growing infections scandal at ‘super-hospital’ during FMQ’s

SCOTLAND’S flagship “super-hospital” has caused further problems for ministers in Holyrood as opposition MSPs demanded answers from Nicola Sturgeon over failings at the Glasgow site. 

During First Minister’s Questions at Holyrood today, the SNP leader was asked whether she will take responsibility for the growing scandal over infections at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

At the request of the Crown Office, Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar this week passed on details to the Procurator Fiscal of the death of a second child at the hospital.
