FOUR days of strike action will hit Sheffield College in South Yorkshire after 200 lecturers rejected an “insulting” 2.5 per cent pay proposal.

Members of the University and College Union (UCU) are set to strike on Friday and on January 30, February 7 and February 9.

They will work to rule from Monday, January 23, including refusing to make up work lost as a result of strike action and refusing to cover for absent colleagues.
