Workers at Heathrow airport set to be balloted for strikes over pay

THOUSANDS of Heathrow airport workers are set to be balloted for strikes over pay, Unite announced today.

More than 3,000 security guards, engineers and firefighters will start voting this Friday in the four-week ballot.

The staff have rejected a below-inflation wage boost of 10 per cent.
