More Amazon workers balloting for strikes over pay
Members of the GMB union on the picket line outside the Amazon fulfilment centre in Coventry as Amazon workers take strike action in a dispute over pay, February 28, 2023

MORE workers at online giant Amazon are to be balloted for strikes over pay.

The GMB said today that its members at Rugeley, Staffordshire, and Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, are to vote in the next few weeks on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action.

The union has already held a series of strikes at Amazon’s site in Coventry, which the union said is having a “domino effect” in other areas.
