THE Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) has joined a host of legal, community, student and rights organisations in expressing “disappointment and alarm” at the dismissal of National Union of Students (NUS) president Shaima Dallali.

Ms Dallali, who had been suspended pending an investigation over the summer following her election in March, said that she had found out about her dismissal earlier this week via Twitter.

The conclusions of the independent probe, thought to concern allegations of historical anti-semitism, are confidential.
