NUS survery finds 71% of student tenants are concerned about their ability to pay rent

MSPs and unions have warned that Scotland’s student renters face a financial crisis due to the pandemic.

A survey by the National Union of Student (NUS) found that 71 per cent of student tenants are concerned about their ability to pay rent.

A further one in seven students said they would be unable to leave their tenancy early, while a quarter have been unable to pay their rent in full in the last four months.
