Scottish Unite launches campaign calling for an end to school meal debt

A SCOTLAND-WIDE campaign calling for an end to school meal debt took their fight to a Glasgow primary today.

The Feed The Weans, Feed The Future campaign, which brings together Unite, the Together Against Debt group and the STUC women’s committee gathered at St John Paul II Primary in Castlemilk.

From leafleting schools and contacting education professionals, to recruiting the support of local and national politicians, the campaign argues that it is the “cost of greed crisis” that is driving food poverty across the land.
