THOUSANDS of anti-austerity protesters will gather in central London on Saturday in a national demonstration demanding a general election.

Trade unions, organisations and campaign groups will join the mass  protest, organised by the People’s Assembly (PA), which comes amid the worsening cost-of-living crisis.

Protesters will be demanding an immediate general election, action on low pay and the repeal of anti-union employment laws.
