THREE witnesses from the firm that made the flammable cladding used on Grenfell Tower are still refusing to give evidence to the inquiry, the chief lawyer said today.
Gwenaelle Derrendinger and Claude Wehrle, who live in France, and Peter Froehlich, based in Germany, claim that they will be at risk of prosecution in the French courts if they speak to the public inquiry in London.
They all worked for Arconic, which manufactured and sold the flammable panels that spread the fire at the west London tower block in June 2017, killing 72 people.
