Tourist attractions across London could be forced to close as more than 900 workers walk out on May 25

WORKERS at major tourist attractions across London are set to strike in a dispute over pay, the GMB union announced today.

Some 900 staff employed by the City of London Corporation to run Tower Bridge, the Barbican and various museums, gardens, parks and markets will down tools next Thursday after voting overwhelmingly for industrial action. 

GMB London region organiser Anna Lee said: “This vote confirms how strongly our members feel and how this cost-of-living crisis is having such a devastating impact on them and their families.
