Wiltshire bin strike ends in massive win for GMB members

STRIKING bin workers in the south of England are celebrating after winning a significant pay rise, GMB has announced.

The union said on Thursday that its members in Wiltshire, who had been on strike for almost two weeks, have voted to accept a 7 per cent wage boost.

Additionally, a bonus scheme will now be extended to more of the refuse workers, while those on the lowest pay rates are set to receive further salary uplifts, GMB confirmed.
