IT’S regrettable that local councils, national government and even major record labels often fail to acknowledge its importance, but the grassroots music scene is the lifeblood of the wider industry, with the music it produces critically important to its welfare.

Now some of the best of that grassroots music is being released by Group Therapy, a London-based collective working to bring previously unheard music to your phones, homes and automobiles during the lockdown and beyond.

It’s a mighty compilation of previously unheard demos, covers, rarities and oddities by some of Britain’s most exciting underground artists in support of the Music Venue Trust (MVT) and NHS Charities Together.
