AT LEAST 222 people have died in Indonesia after a tsunami swept away homes, hotels and people attending a beach concert last night.

The country’s Disaster Management Agency reported more than 800 people injured and 28 missing as the Star went to print this evening.

The numbers are expected to rise, however, as rescue workers have yet to reach some areas.
