US DEMOCRATS called out President Donald Trump’s racist and divisive tweets today which told four congresswomen to “go back” to the “broken and crime infested” countries he claims they came from.

The tweets targeted “the squad” of new House Democrats — Reps Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.

They were all born in the US except for Ms Omar, who has been a permanent resident since gaining asylum in 1995.
