ALEX GORDON has been elected RMT president, the transport union has announced.
Mr Gordon, a train driver who previously held the position between 2010 and 2012, will serve a three-year term.
Speaking to the Morning Star after the announcement, he said: “Rail workers, London Underground staff, seafarers and other transport workers are facing pay freezes, attacks on their pensions and the prospect of about £1.5 billion of cuts to the rail industry.
