Glasgow 13th Note workers win tribunal over shock redundancies

UNITE members at the 13th Note music venue in Glasgow have won 90 days’ pay after their former employer failed to consult staff before making them redundant. 

The venue closed in July last year, just three days after workers had staged a strike.

It was the first industrial action by bar workers in Scotland for over two decades.
