GMB launches investigation into allegations made against general secretary after his resignation

THE GMB union has launched an investigation into allegations made against Tim Roache who resigned as general secretary this week.

On Tuesday, Mr Roache stood down citing ill health. He has suffered from myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) for years.

His condition has previously resulted in two years’ sickness absence from work, according to the GMB’s statement.
