Grilled hotel directors concede wages to sacked workers
Sacked hotel workers protest outside Glasgow Virgin Hotel, December 20, 2023

MORE than 130 sacked workers at the Glasgow Virgin Hotel have won back their pay after giving their former employer a roasting today.

Staff at the flagship hotel had been told on Tuesday that, despite the business only being open for four months, they had lost their jobs and risked not being paid as the company slid into administration.

Dozens of workers rallied outside the hotel on Wednesday to demand their unpaid wages.
