Israeli missiles shot down over Damascus

ISRAELI missiles were intercepted over the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday night, according to military sources.

Most of the rockets, which targeted the countryside south of the city, were shot down, Syria’s armed forces said.

The pro-regime change Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which is based in Coventry, claimed that the missiles targeted Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement, which is aiding the government in its fight against jihadist terror groups.
