SCOTTISH LABOUR MSP Mercedes Villalba is planning legislation to limit land ownership.
She is preparing to visit island communities “blighted for years by the gross injustice of having a huge concentration of land in the hands of a small number of extremely wealthy individuals.”
During the four-day trip, which starts on Monday, Ms Villalba will meet community groups and campaigners for land justice as part of her preparations to table a Bill in the Scottish Parliament restricting the number of acres that wealthy landowners can hold.
