New uniforms too warm for Parcelforce workers in the summer

PARCELFORCE workers warned their new uniforms are too hot to work in the summer at the Communication Workers Union (CWU) annual conference today.

Delegates heard that bosses ignored feedback from admin and warehouse staff asking they keep the same uniforms.

They were made to the same red kit as Royal Mail colleagues but have been bringing in their own clothes.
