Gunnersaurus loses job

ARSENAL’S legendary mascot Gunnersaurus was sacked yesterday in a money-saving move from the club.

Jerry Quy, who has graced matches inside the beloved dinosaur suit since 1993, was a part-time worker. The club insist Gunnersaurus will return.

The decision comes weeks after 55 members of staff were made redundant due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the inability to have fans inside stadiums.
