THE race for top four continued today as Antonio Conte’s Spurs beat Mike Jackson’s Burnley 1-0 after the tightest possible turnaround from Thursday night’s North London Derby victory.
On a grey Sunday afternoon, Tottenham started on the front foot with virtually every player in the Burnley half. Lucas Moura had a bright start and was allowed to turn and shoot on the edge of the box, but a big deflection ended up being a corner.
Heung Min Son’s short corner saw him fire the ball into the box with a shot, forcing Clarets keeper Nick Pope into a big save.
