Sacked hotel workers demand answers and unpaid wages from Glasgow's Virgin Hotel
SACKED workers rallied outside a Glasgow hotel today to demand answers — and thousands of pounds in unpaid wages.
Workers at the flagship 240-room Virgin Hotel on the banks of the river Clyde gathered after operator V Hotel Glasgow Limited went into administration and made 134 staff redundant.
The hotel staff are owed substantial sums in unpaid wages, as well as service charges, and now Unite’s hospitality branch has launched a campaign to get what they are owed.
