Yemenis take to street to demand end to Saudi-led bombing of their country

YEMENIS took to the streets yesterday in protest at the continuing Saudi-led bombing of their country and to remember those killed in the Western-backed seven-year onslaught.

At a mass rally in the northern city of Saada, they denounced the actions of Riyadh, sending a message to the world that the “martyrs will not be forgotten.”

The demonstrators demanded justice for those who have lost their lives in the war, which started in March 2015 as Western powers backed Saudi Arabia’s bid to restore ousted president Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi.
