SCOTTISH Green party members have unanimously backed an STUC-led plan to improve the lives of working people amid the worsening cost-of-living crisis.

At the party’s annual conference on Saturday, an emergency motion submitted by the Scottish Greens Trade Union Group asked delegates to support the nine-point People’s Plan for Action.

An amendment, submitted by MSPs Ross Greer and Patrick Harvie, sought to put further pressure on the Britain’s Tory government to provide extra funding for Scotland as prices soar and take-home drops.
