SCOTTISH LABOUR is facing another selection storm, as constituency parties challenged the “integrity” of the selection processes over the weekend.
Local parties have complained of being “kept in the dark” by Scottish Labour, as the process to select candidates in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West, and Lanark and Hamilton East constituencies gets underway.
The two constituency parties covering the area, Rutherglen Labour Party and Hamilton, Larkhall, and Stonehouse Labour Party, have sent a joint letter to the Scottish and Westminster leaders asking for clarity on the shortlisting process.
