SFA appoint Maxwell as new chief executive
THE Scottish Football Association announced the appointment of Ian Maxwell today as the new chief executive of the governing body, replacing Stewart Regan who quit the role in February.
Maxwell, who is currently managing director of Partick Thistle, will take up his new position at the end of the season.
Following the announcement Maxwell said: "This is a very proud moment for myself and my family.
