Strike by hundreds of repair workers will affect more than 30,000 homes, Unite warns

HUNDREDS of housing association workers will go on strike over pay, Unite has announced.

Citizen Housing’s repairs workers in Birmingham, Coventry, Hereford and Worcester will walk out on October 28 and nine dates in November.

Unite said more than 30,000 homes will be affected and threatened to intensify industrial action if the dispute is not resolved.
