Sturgeon criticised for failing to back calls to sack bosses at scandal-hit Glasgow hospital
NICOLA STURGEON faced criticism today over her failure to support the sacking of senior management at a scandal-stricken Glasgow super-hospital.
The SNP leader was challenged during First Minister’s Questions at Holyrood today over her party’s stance on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, following the deaths of a number of patients linked to infections caught at the site.
Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar hit out at Ms Sturgeon after she failed to back calls for the management of the hospital’s NHS Glasgow and Clyde health board to resign, following a vote on the issue on Wednesday evening.
