Syrian and Turkish defence ministers meet for first time in 11 years
THE defence ministers of Turkey, Syria and Russia held talks in Moscow on Wednesday to address the “Syrian crisis.”
It was the first ministerial level meeting between authoritarian rivals Turkey and Syria since the beginning of the Syrian conflict 11 years ago.
A statement from the Turkish defence ministry said the talks took place in a “positive atmosphere.”
