Syrian capital rocked by repeated explosions
SYRIAN capital Damascus was rocked by repeated explosions in the early hours of today, but there has been no immediate statement on the source or target at time of print.
Similar incidents in the past have usually been attributed to Israeli air strikes, with Syrian air defences responding by shooting down missiles.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based opposition war monitor group, said the explosion came from a warehouse storing rockets for Iran-backed militias, though it could not confirm whether there had been an Israeli strike.
